Attaching event to the folder in Outlook 2007

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2007 configured with exchange server.
I have attached 2 events to the custom folder in Outlook 2007. The events get fired for some time. After that the events never get fired.

I think the events get canceled when the outlook synchronizes with the exchange server.

can Anybody please help me in resolving this issue.
