Attaching a folder to an email message

I want to attach an entire folder to an email on Outlook without having to
send each individual file within the folder. I have tried from both Messages
and from the actual folder but if I 'send to' a mail recipient they are
unable to open it.

Zip the folder then send it as an attachment. Other than that, you can't do
it directly.
