Attaching a file link in Outlook 2002

Hi,

I have the standalone version of Outlook 2002 (SP3).
Something which is really annoying me is the inability to
easily add a link to a file on the local network into an
email.

When I try to insert a Hyperlink, and choose file, it
doesnt display a file chooser dialog. You have to type
the whole path of the file in by hand, or copy it over
from an explorer window. Is there a patch to allow the
use of a file chooser dialog ? I believe there is in
Office XP version ?

No patch. You only have this option when composing in RTF format
