I wish a true outlook expert would answer this. I have a similar problem. I
can no longer open my faxed attachments and outlook start to nag about not
having the correct permissions etc.etc.etc. todate the best I do is check
file associations for the extension type in my folder options or I just start
a new profile by renaming my corrupted profile( I admit to assuming it is
corrupted....)
