ATI Rage IIC video card - mouse is jumpy in only 1 game - works fine in Windows and other games

E-Games Card and Board Games 2 is the CD (multiple games, they all have the same
problem).
This is on an old PC (AMD Duron 450, 128MB RAM) I setup for my nephew.

Suggestions for things to try?
