ATI RADIO 8500 ALL in Wonder,TV, and Mute?

Correction:

I upgraded the TV software to 8.9 and now when I run the TV software
and press the mute, it does not mute! I remember, that in the v7
software I had to specify that the sound was produced in via. the mic.
input and not line in, but I can not find the same setting in this
software!

Any idea where this setting is or what can be done?

run the setup wizard again from within settings (checked marked button on TV control)
