ATI TV Tuner

Why does it always unmute the line in on my volume control when I go
into the ATI Tuner software to watch TV?

It's a real pain in the arse. I have my sound coming from the
S/PDIF-IN. The optical sound input that comes from my Sony Sky Box.

Every single time it unmutes the line-in, and every time I have to
keep going into the volume control to mute the bloody thing.

If ATI can fix this so it does what I want, then maybe for my next
system in 2007/08 I will continue to buy and use their Graphics Cards
and software.

Yes, the small issues are sometimes the most annoying. PowerDVD does
this sort of thing too.

Could you tell the TV Player your using an input that's not actually being
used. Like say Aux.
