ATI Radeon 9200 SE Graphics Card

When my computer was first set up for me by my cousin, he set the above
graphics card for the best performance. Recently, I have had to reinstall
everything and unfortunately, I don't have any idea what the setting for the
above card should be, as far as 3D, rendering, etc goes, for ultimate
performance, as since reinstalling the software for the graphics card,
including the latest from drivers from ATI, etc, I get a lot of stuttering
and clicking noises in the opening sequence of the game intro. Once in the
game, it seems to be OK(ish)? When first installed and tested with 3D Mark
2001 SE benchmark, I was getting score in the very high 3000's and usually
well over 4000. I just tested a few minutes ago and the only score I got was
1229! Could someone please let me know exactly what I have to do to get the
settings right on this graphics card please? I don't play big games, just
basic Microsoft Empire and Nation games. Many thanks, Mick
