ATA100 & W2K SP2 conflict

Hello again.
Problem - couldn't load w2K - 7b Stop errors.....
KB hinted that SP3 would cure BUT
conflict between W2K & ATA HDD & Shuttle BIOS......
I'm using my W2K disk ( SP2 ).
As I can't load W2K, I can't apply SP3.
That's the real prob, as SP3 fixes ATA conflict.

Solved the problem overnight with much searching .
Mooched on Seagate website & found a toggle prog to set
ATA100 to ATA66. This enables load, application of SP3
and retoggle to ATA100.

All is well

Glad you got it sorted, but SP4 is the current SP. In addition, you should
be installing the MS03-026 and MS03-039 hotfixes, if nothing else.
