ASUS P4P800-Deluxe & XP & Sound

I just upgraded my system board and processor to the ASUS P4P800
Deluxe. Nice board, but the onboard sound really is annoying.
Actually, it's the lack of it.

I've upgrade the BIOS from 1007 to 1010 (latest) and XP installed the
Multimedia control and SOUNDMAX drivers.

Still no sound.

Any ideas, suggestions, prayers???
 
Did you get all the wires connected when you swapped the
mobo? Is the sound enabled in the BIOS?

Did you plug the speakers into the correct jacks?

Install the latest Windows XP motherboard drivers!
