Help, just disconnected the DVD RW, when reattached the system bios doesnt see it!

It defo connected properly!

Can anyone advise?
 
Sounds silly, but tripple check the data and power cables. I've done this a few times myself and sometimes its unattached at the other end ;) Try unplugging and reinserting every end.
 
The drive is opening and closing, so obvioulsy power must be there.

Even tryed changing datat cable, no difference!
 
Was the PC still plugged into the wall when you did this?

If it was ... oh dear. :rolleyes:

Yup mucky, certainly was.



























But, there was no power going to it! ;)
