associating slide master to slides

G

Guest

I made a slide masters and a title master. the slide master is associated to
the slides from 2 to 9

I want to make another slide master, and associate it to certain slides (for
eg. slides from 10 to 13)

is that possible? and if not possible, then what is the use of making more
than one slide masters?

Depends on your version of PowerPoint.

OK - so go to your slide master: View > Master > Slide Master.
On the slide master tool bar click either Insert New Slide Master or Insert
new Title Master. Add your design to this master. Right click on the master
and Rename it.

Close out of Slide Master View.

Click Format > Slide Design. The slide design task pane will appear on the
right, with your new Master as one of the thumbnails. You'll find apply
options in the thumbnail's drop down menu.

Select slides "10 - 13" thumbnails in the Naviagation Pane at the left of
your screen. Then in the slide design task pane select: Apply to Selected
Slides.

Thank You alot.

can I add a diagram to the master so I can control the shape or type of all
the diagrams from the slide master?

in other words, can I add other contents to the slide master other than text
boxes, so I can control them?

You can add a diagram to the slide master - you will only be able to edit it
from the slide master...

Thanks. I got that.

But can you edit 3 or 4 diagrams on the normal slides by editing the one on
the slide master?

I think I understand your question.

Any edit you make on the slide master will be reflected in the 3 - 4 normal
slide (to which you have applied that master).
