Associating files with applications

I know this isn't rocket science but i've forgotten how if i ever knew.
I've installed "ope office" for a bit of a look but now all my "word" files
open under open office. How do i change the association back??

Right-click the file, choose OPEN WITH|CHOOSE PROGRAM
Checkmark the "always open" box
Locate the desired program in the list, or browse to it
