Associate a program

I used the "Program to Open" a file on my computer,
causing all the files to be assigned to that "opening
program" How do I "unassociate" this so I return this
file to a type that Windows doesn't know which program to
use to open it?

I'm sure there's a way to do it within Windows but I prefer Open Expert:

Tools-Folder Options-File Types... Select the desired file type extension
and delete it.

Hi,

Go to Start/Run/CMD and type in: assoc

Copy the line for the association you wish to restore. A Command Prompt
window will open. Right click in this Window and select Paste. Then press
Enter.

You can download a BAT file (zipped) that will restore all of the "default"
associations that XP ships with. It will not restore those file associations
created by 3rd party applications. The BAT file can be downloaded from
