Assinging GPO's to sites

Am I able to enforce a GPO to every PC in a site by linking the machine
policy straight to a site itself? I thought this would be the easiest way to
assign logon scripts to a domain with multiple sites so I could let users
from any site log on at any site.

Yes,

use AD Sites and Services, click on the site, click properties, GPO tab,
an edit or create one.
