Assigning Word as Editor

I had my computer re-imaged last week by our IT group. Before said
re-imaging, MS Word was my editor when composing email in outlook. This was
evidenced in part by the Word icon being overlaid with the "yellow envelope"
icon when a pending composition was minimized. I can't tell what my editor
is now but when I minimize a pending outgoing email, the icon is simply a
yellow envelope---leading me to suspect that MS Word is no longer doing the
editing.

How can I tell if Word is the editor? How can I "fix" it if Word is not my
editor for Outlook compositions?

Open Outlook. Choose Options from the Tools drop down menu.
Click on the Mail Format tab. Chec or uncheck the box to
"Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages"

There will be no mistaking Word as the editor. It will have all the
features Word has and will look exactly like a Word compose window because
that's what it is.
