Assigning Individual Permissions

I've been working on assigning group permissions to the objects manually. If
I've selected a group and tables from the dropdown I can see the list of all
the tables. I can select all the tables at one time and assign permissions
but they don't stay. If I log out and back in the changes are gone. If I do
them individually, log out and back in the changes are fine. Why is that?
Why allow the capability of selecting all of them? Have I done something
wrong that I'm not aware of? Everything else works exactly as I expect it to
except this. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure they don't 'stick'? It may appear that way, but I've found that you can select multiple objects and assign permissions. If you, after relogging in, select the multiple objects, the permissions appear disabled. However if you select just one object, you'll find the permissions you set are in place.

I did look at them individually because I thought at first I forgot to select
everything. It wasn't even as if they were all disabled because they started
out with everything being checked on. I then checked off modify design on
all of them, applied it and then clicked OK. I closed the database and when
I went back in it was checked again. So I did them individually and when I
logged out and back in it the modify design was the way I wanted it.
Everything else worked perfectly so I really didn't think I messed something
up that would affect this.

Sorry, I haven't experienced that.
