I have a two partition disk image created using Ghost. I boot into WinPE and
load the ghost image onto the disk using Ghost32. After loading the image I
cannot access the partitions on the PC until I reboot. I have tried using
the diskpart tool to assign a drive letter after loading the image but I
recieve the error "DiskPart could not assign the drive letter or mount point.
Make sure the drive letter or mount point is valid".
The image has two partitions. Partition 1 is 60% of the drive, and
Partition 2 is 40%.
One thing I found is when I cleaned the disk first using diskpart and then
created a paritition with a specific size, assigned drive letter c, loaded a
partition out of the ghost image, I was then able to access the drive without
having to reboot.
Anyone got any ideas or know how I can create partitions based on percentage
of total drive?
Thanks for your help in advance.
