I just bought and installed Overlord II yesterday. Every time I start it up
I get this error message.

Assertion failed!

Program: ...
File: ..\FxSDK\Src\FxName.cpp
Line 461

Expression: FxFalse != removeResult

For information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see the
Visual C++ documentation on asserts

(press retry to debug the application-JIT must be enabled)

I have abort, retry, and ignore as buttons, none of which work. What do I do?

I've seen a mixture of responses on how to fix this on another forum. You can try installing the PhysX drivers if you've got an NVIDIA card:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx_9.09.0428_whql.html

Or, others that had the demo installed before the full version needed to remove that before installing.

Thank you...I've just installed the PhysX drivers and now everything is fine!
