ASR / System recovery set up

Is there a way to have the asr set up in the scheduled
task manager to run when I want it to? Plus is there a
way to get it to work with out a floopy and use a cd
instead?

I can live with out the cd working, but really need to
get the asr to run on a daily schedule or weekly? I was
thinking of writing a script to run the program, but do
not know what the file name is to run just the asr
program. I am not real sure what the switches are to
answer the wizard for auto run, in the script either.

Please can any one help me on this.

Hey Angel,

Hows Buffy :) ?

Not sure if this is what you want.

start/run
ntbackup

Select advanced mode, scheduled jobs, add

This starts the backup wizard, click next, select only backup system state,
next throug it, eventually you get a schedule screen where you can specify
the frequency

Any use ?

Ntbackup does not support writing directly to cd. You'll have to backup to a
file first, and then burn it.

Sorry but I already have the system doing a system state
back up. What I am trying to get done is a ASR "Auto
Systems Recovery"
From just the wizard and or the backup window I do not
see a way from there to schedule an asr.

This is what I am looking for. Want the system to run
and do a asr auto run and rewrite the new info to the
floopy disk that will stay in the drive. But I dont know
any of the switches that will have to be used in a script
to get the asr to run with out any one telling it to and
baby sit it.

I have all systems trun them selfs on at night and run
updates and backups. Now I need to get the ASR to run
just like everything else. Can this be done???
