I have a drop down search list that opens a database that
displays all the results based on the search. I'm only
displaying a few fields (like a pick from this list).

For each record, I want one of the fields to act as a
link to the record's details page.

I realize that the records are displayed as a result of a
first search... now I need to get the results to produce
a link that take you to the details distinct to each
record. (I don't want 2 drop down lists)

Is there something I should add/change in the "results
properties" for that results field? or is there something
I should be adding to the hyperlink parameter?

Any assistance is appreciated.

Thank you for your assistance. I appreciate your
informative website. Prior to reaching out for help I
followed your instructions and it worked out fine. The
problem occurs when I add a drop down search list which
displays the pick list. I use FP 2002. Adding the
hyperlink & parameters appears to work. It just doesn't
run the query when I click on it. The same details page
shows up for every record. Is it even possible to do
what I'm trying to do?
