When I install the .NET Framework from Microsoft Updates, it creates
an account on WinXP called "ASP.NET Machine A..."

It's a "Limited" account, and is password protected.

Is this account any use, can it just be deleted? Hints, clues? Thanks.

keep it...takes up very little space...will not be used
until you need it someday...you never know right
now...if/when needed it will be there...

neat trick...change the picture just for practice.

Hi,

Unless you need it, delete it. It is not necessary for normal operation.
