ASP.NET machine A

Hi and thanks for your time;
I just wonder can anyone tell me if this is necessary,
As far as I know I am the only user of this machine,
yet when I go into user accounts I see the following
account (ASP.NET, limited account,password protected.)and
my own account as the administrator.

just why is that ASP.NET account there and why should it
be password protected, I know I didn't do it?

This account got created when you installed the .NET Framework as part of the windows update

Dont worry about it
