hi, I had installed the software for power management for my laptop and hoped
it will bring back to me more time using laptop with battery. but i found
that when i used laptop with that software in battery mode, the processor
only worked as half speed as normal (795 compared to 1730) therefore, i have
unistalled the software. but since that, i cannot regain my normal speed when
working with battery and even when i tried to turn to the "always on" mode in
power shemes but nothing changed. can you tell me how i can handle with that
in order to make the speed to be 1730 when i am working with battery?
thank you

Hi ya can you tell me what cpu is in your laptop, the slowing down is a
feature of all modern laptop processors generally called speed step or power
something. with your laptop there should a tool to adjust every power
setting. If it was a Dell it should have a program called quickset. Let me
know the CPU and manufacturer/model
