After an aborted Adobe upgrade download I was bluescreened
in Win XP Home and attempted a repair with my original XP
disc. This disc indicates that it includes service pack 1.
XP Repair instructions prompts me for Service Pack 1 CD to
obtain ASMS file. Naturally I don't have it since it's
supposed to be included on the CD in the drive now.
I read Knowledge Base Aritcle 311755.
I don't have a windows 98 second edition startup disk.
Does anyone know of any alternatives or a way I can
produce a startup disk without a windows 98 machine?
TIA,
Ralph Page
