Just to add data to this conversation:
Asus P4C800-E Deluxe:
Intel P4 3.2Ghz (Northwood).
ThermalTake Spark 7 (Laser version).
Two input air fans.

With the Spark set at 5000rpm:
MB temp is 30.
The idle CPU temp is 40/41
With SETI running (it pegs the CPU at 100/100 in task manager), the CPU goes
to 56/57.

Still within safe range.

Thoughts?
