My daughter just purchased an Aiptek graphics tablet, and the Corel Art
Dabbler program that came with it isn't very good. Is there a freeware
graphics program that supports a graphics tablet with a pressure
sensitive pen?

Thanks, Peter

Usual answer - GIMP for windows http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/
or a slightly more friendly version GimpShop http://plasticbugs.com/
drawback - frequent mentions of problems with graphics tablets in Gimp
forums.

also have a look at Artweaver - http://www.artweaver.de
This is still in development but promises to be good little app. Has the
look and feel of CorelDraw.

Artrage, from Ambient Design. http://www.artrage.com/artrage.html
This is not a traditional graphic package, but designed for pure
freehand painting and drawing.

Scroll down the page for free version. Note, I have not tried this
version (2) of Artrage, it has recently been released. From a review it
seems that the free version of Artrage 2 is essentially the same as the
completely freeware 1st version.

OpenCanvas. There is a free version.
