arrow keys in MS Word

I am looking for a non-macro way to emulate the behavior of Arrow Keys in
EXCEL within a table in MS Word.

If it is a setting within word, or a means by which i can assign keyboard
shortcuts to the arrow keys, that would be fine. I have a finite number of
users, and I can modify each of their versions of MS Word accordingly.

Please let me know if this can be done. Thanks in advance!

I'm so glad you have a finite number of users - it causes no end of problems
dealing with an infinite number :)

Even with macros it would be difficult to fully emulate this Excel
behaviour - the two applications are different - and, if you did it, you
would also have to find a way to switch to cell edit mode (like Excel's
double click in cell) - and from it (which would mean remapping Enter, and
thus, perhaps also Alt+Enter) as there is no equivalent to the formula bar.
And all this only when in a table, so you would need Application Events to
tell you when that happened.

In short: no!
