Arrow key will not go to next cell

The arrow key on the keyboard can go up, down and left but it will not go to
the cell on the right. Checked Scroll Lock key and it is off, Ctrl or Shift
key is not stuck on either. Anything else to suggest?

The arrow key only works like this in Excel, works everywhere else just fine.
It's also a laptop.

The Tab key does not want to work either. I was wondering if there was a
type of lock combination. I can put the mouse on the cell and go to the
right but that's about it.

I take that back, I checked this morning and the Tab key does work.
