Are there good reasons to upgrade from Access 2000?

Apologies if this has already been covered, but a quick search didn't reveal
anything. I'm still using Access 2000 and it seems to do all the things I
want. However, that may merely be down to a lack of imagination on my part.

Are there any really good reasons why I should start using either Access
2003 or 2007?

As it happens, I have just obtained a copy of Office 2007 Professional and
have had a very brief look at an old A2000 database in A2007. I was rather
puzzled to get security warnings about the dangers of using VBA code. Is VBA
no longer in favour at Microsoft?

There have been lots of improvements made since Access 2000 (which many
people consider to be one of the poorer versions of Access), but if you
don't need the new capabilities, then there's probably no reason to upgrade.
Of course, Access 2000 has been off support for a while now, so there won't
be any fixes for it.

VBA is still in favour, but recognize that it is capable of doing malicious
things. Now, at least you have to make a concious decision if you want to
allow it to run. See what Jeff Conrad has at
http://www.accessmvp.com/JConrad/accessjunkie/macrosecurity.html for how to
avoid that message.
