Are there "Better Titles" Options for People on Screen

Hi Folks,

Are there any suggestions to placing better name titles at the bottom
of the screen (when people are speaking) to include better handling of
fonts, using a logo, placement? Even a 3rd party softward out there?

I can't believe all there is is the red bar "news" template in
titles/credits...

Very interested to know...

Hi There,

Movie Maker is a rather limited in this area. I use MovieDV 6 to do
anything like that. Perhaps the nearest you can get to it in Movie Maker (as
supplied) is to use the Subtitle option and align left or right or middle.

There are some workarounds that involve messing around with a second
video clip with a blue background whose Alpha channel is turned down (making
that part invisible) leaving some text visible and then use it as a
transition...very tachy I always thought. If you have a lot of this to do
(as in more than one) try getting hold of MovieXone (Its the granddaddy of
MovieDV 6) its free and after you have learned how to use it, it will enable
you to do what you want....and a whole load more besides. For example, if
you want the text to move so as it keeps station with an object/person, its
no trouble at all, or if you want to rotate the text in all three axis,
again no trouble at all.

Don't get MovieXone confused with MovieXonePlus which is not free. Check
out some of the better cover disks, you should find it on one of them.....if
all else fails I can email you a copy.

There is one title style called subtitle, it's pretty plain, but it may work
for you.
