Archiving public folders

I'm currently trying to setup a way to archive public folders in microsoft
outlooks 2003. I have read numerous forums regarding this issue and I can't
seem to find a solution. When trying to archive the public folders in outlook
I receive a pop up box indicating "The selected folder cannot be archived".
Can someone help!!
