I noticed on my computer that the archive folder stored in My Documents is
very large (16GB). Are these files critical to the system or can they be
deleted?

Thanks in advance for any help

Bob

If it truly is an archive folder then it must have been created by a user,
or an application they were using.
Usually Archives contain data & only the user knows what

It contains files with names similar to
a0baaa82-eb71-443d-afd5-35d9a8b4b6bf-1 with no extension. Most of the files
are 1,889,392 kb in size. each subfolder has about 4 of the above type files
and one file called index.arb

I have the same fies in a folder that appeared on my desktop.I deleted the
folder and it repeared later or another day.??
I don't know what those files are...?!?!
