I have HDD 80GB. I just want to use 16GB for partition C and 16GB for partition D. Now I have about 48GB Unused space. Which the right, Ext2/Ext3, Unformatted, or leave Unallocated so Windows not use that 48GB space. Eg. use to store deleted file and recoverable. Thank for Help.

I'm not sure what you are referring too?

You have two separate partitions..
C and D (both formatted @ 16gig)

It leaves you with an unformatted, unactivated, non formatted partition space of less than 48gig

Why are you leaving such a large space unused?
Or do you want to now use the 48gig partition for file storage?

If not why are you using an 80gig drive? Why not use a smaller capacity?

Which part of the drive in unrecoverable, the 48gig side?
