Archive not properly closed

I seem to have a recurring problem. When I shut down in the evening, certain
Outlook programs seem to not shut down. I get a "End Now" dialog before I
can shut down. In the morning when I start-up, I get the message "archive
not properly closed" and have to wait 5 minutes for Outlook to start-up
(completion bar shows up showing how much of my archive is being retrieved).

I now get this almost everytime a boot-up and start Outlook now. What can I
do to correct?

I am using Office XP.

I should have included this earlier. The two programs that I get the "End
Program" dialog asking me to end now at shut down time are "ccApp" and
"Outlook.exe" I hope this helps in the diagnosis. Thanks!
