Archive folders cannot be deleted

I have Outlook 2003 environment with Exchange 2003. Since
the archieving folders and process has changed in Outlook
2003 vs. Office XP, I was moving around certain archive
folders that were stored on a network drive. I ended up
with two instances of the same archive folder with exactly
the same contents. The contents are viewable and editable,
but when I attempt to close either of the folders or click
on the advanced button of "properties", I receive a
Microsoft Outlook dialogue box stating "The operation
failed. An object could not be found" I know that I
could create a new profile and delete the original
profile, but that would require reinstalling certain CRM
software and other add-ons that are difficult to get
properly configured. How is it possible to eliminate or
restablish the link or pointers to abandoned folders so
that I can clean up the current profile and get everything
in the correct folders?

What .pst files show under File->Data File Management?
