Auto Archiving Only Completed Tasks

T

Thomas M.

Outlook 2003.

I have auto archiving setup on most of my folders, but I don't archive my
Tasks folder because I have some unfinished tasks that are older than the
age threshold that I want to set. I was thinking that if I could auto
archive only completed tasks of a certain age, that would be ideal. I
looked for that capability but didn't see anything that looks like it will
allow me that functionality. I am posting this message in the hopes that I
just missed it.

Is there a way to auto archive only completed tasks of a given age in
Outlook 2003? How about in Outlook 2007?

Thanks for any help that you can offer.

Nope to both. AutoArchive only has knowledge of date, not of any other particular
data point that an item would have.

Probably the best solution would be to reguarly move completed tasks into
a sub-folder that you do archive.

Great idea tho.
