Aqua - help recover file

Word doc., Macintosh, trial version of Microsoft Word

I have lost all the changes I made to a document even though I had the auto
save set to 10-min.
I left the computer on last night, but when I woke up an tried to open the
file it was the old version. When it asked do you want to revert to the save
doc. I clicked NO, but nothing happened.
Can you help me recover the file?

Word does not have an 'autosave'. It only has a 'automatically save recovery
information' which is not the same thing. If you didn't save the document
there's nothing to recover. See

primarily at the Windows version, it should be equally relevant to the Mac
version).
