How do I keep apps from opening up on startup in xp pro? I have a bunch of apps that start and put a shortcut button in the bottom right hand portion of my monitor.
 
Hi,

Simple method is to start/run msconfig, and go to the startup tab. Uncheck
the ones you do not want.
