Apps start on boot-up

How do I stop certain applications/programs from starting
automatically on boot-up? I want to start them only from
the Programs list when I need them?

Hi

From Start>Run type:

msconfig

then click on the startup tab. Uncheck any programs in there that you don't
strating when Windows does. Some programs, however, may have the settings
within the program itself, so may not show up in msconfig>startup.
