Appointments don't work between Outlook 2003 Beta and 2000

I recently upgraded to 2003 Beta, but now, when I
schedule appointments or meetings, the people who I
include no longer get appointments that they can just
accept or decline. Instead, they get a bunch of
unformatted text that looks like a bunch of garbage to
them. Basically, Outlook 2000 (which the others are
using) doesn't recognize the message as being a calendar
entry.

This appears only to happen when I initiate the
appointment under 2003. If I reply to another person's
requests, or send a cancellation, it seems to work fine.

Any suggestions??????

Yes, do not set a reminder and it should work. This was broken in Outlook
2002 - a bit surprised it has not been fixed yet.
