appointments automatically delete themselves

My outlook 2007 calendar appointments will automatically delete themselves
after they are a couple weeks old. I have tried to resolve this with the MS
help desk and set up another Outlook profile to no avail. The technician at
MS also had no other suggestions. I have uninstalled and reinstalled outlook
2007 also but no change to the problem. I can find the appointments in my
deleted folder but and move them back to the calendar but will find them in
the deleted folder in a few days.

I anyone has any suggestion I would gladly appreciate them.
 
Are you perhaps syncing Outlook with a mobile device?
Check its options or the sync options to determine what is does with old
appointments.
