Appointment shows in Active Appointments but not in Day/Week/Month

When I enter appointments using the IPhone, then synch it, the new
appointments are "recognized" by Outlook, as they appear on certain views
(such as the Active Appointments view). However, when I switch to
Day/Week/Month view, these appointments are not seen.

This did not happen prior to a recent IPhone software version change. I
think this problem, therefore, is related to this recent change for my IPhone
(now 2.0). However, I am starting my attempt to fix this on this forum
because it seems that the synchronizing part occurs fine, but then Outlook is
doing something with the information that causes it to be displayed
incorrectly.

Appointments entered in Outlook first synchronize to the IPhone fine.

The only other part of Outlook that I use is Contacts. Contacts entered
into the IPhone (and entered via the computer) synchronize fine and Outlook
displays them normally.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Known problem and described hundreds of times in these newsgroups over the
last few weeks. Try searching next time.

I have this same issue but don't have an iPhone and have never connected an
apple device to the Vista/Office 2007 enabled computer I have at work.

I am connecting to Exchange Server 2003 and am running in cached mode.
Appointments are missing and displayed incorrectly (appointments appearing
as multi-day appointments when they are only an hour long with start and end
dates being identical) in the Day/Week/View but present in the view all
appointments mode. When I check out my calendar over terminal server in
Outlook 2003, everything is perfectly fine.

I have tried deleting the local ost file but it gets recreated with the same
error. When I connect to exchange server directly, not using cached mode,
the appointments are displayed correctly.

I do synchronize my windows mobile device (as I have for years) but
absolutely nothing has changed on my end. I was wondering whether some
patch had been applied to Outlook in the past week as this problem arose
this past Monday morning.

Any ideas would be appreciated!
