Applying rules to specific folders

Gordon Byrne

Hi, I want to set a rule to delete, out of OutLook all messages in my "Spam"
folder after it reaches 1000. Is this possible? Right now I seem to be
able to only set rules for emails comming into my "Inbox". I have OutLook
2002.

Thank you,

Gordy

No, that is not how rules work. Note that you don't set rules on e-mail in
your inbox but on e-mails that you receive. You can configure AutoArchive to
delete all message older than x-days from your Junk E-mail Folder

Thanks for the reply Roady :)

OK, so is it possible to create a VB scpript that can do this? This
question is for anyone who might have some knowledge on how to do that.

Yes, you could create a VB script that would do it; though it's a lot
easier to just use AutoArchive. Are you good with VB?
