apply a new layout

I am using powerpoint 2007. I made a new layout and want to apply this one to
the existing slides. I know I can do this slide by slide (slides on the left
pane > select layout), but how do I do this all at once without going through
each slide? Thanks.

You can select multiple slides in the left pane. Select one slide and press
Ctrl+A key combination to select all slides and then apply layout as usual
to apply it to all selected slides.
