Applications deployment

Hi Guys and Gals,
Just a quick question. I've recently deployed ie8 via Group Policy. My
question then is, how do I see which computers it has successfully been
installed on and which it has not?
My platform is Win2000 Adv Server and WinXP Clients, sp3

You can't actually. There's no functionality built into Group Policy
Software Installation that can do that. I guess you'll have to rely on third
party application deployment tools.

You could, however do some tricking and query clients' eventlogs and search
for 108 (Software Installation failed) event ids in there.

Cheers,
Florian
