Application Launcher fails to load configuration

I have recently installed sony erricson software following which, when I boot
up I get a message box titled "application launcher" which states "failure to
load configuration". If anyone knows what this is and how to fix it (as it
seems to be preventing me from being able to configure a wireless router and
access the internet which was previously working fine) it would be much
appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
