Application fonts changed

After deleting some fonts (because of a MS Access problem that I was
experiencing) the font in some of my applications has changed. In one program
the font is so small that I can barely read it.

I have tried deleting fonts, reinstalling them, etc. and I can't get my
application back to where it was before I started dealing with this MS Access
font problem.

I was going to reinstall the Windows fonts from scratch, but since I have
installed SP2 to my Windows XP Pro, it says that it can't use my CD because
the XP I'm running is newer than the XP on my CD. When I try to delete some
of the fonts (so that I can install a fresh copy), it asks for my Windows XP
SP2 CD - which I don't have because I updated from the Automatic Update web
site.

I even tried reinstalling the application, but the font is still the same.

Can anyone help me get my applications back to the font I started with?

System fonts are part of the Windows File Protection scheme.
So if you deleted any of those, they would be quietly replaced.
You didn't mention which applications have the font issue and
that data is important. For now, Open Display Properties in the
Control Panel, Click "Appearance" tab and towards the bottom
of the applet check that the Font Size option is set to normal.
Repost with the additional info on which applications are having
the font issue.

The font size is set to normal - I did try setting it to "Large Fonts", but
that had no effect.

The two programs that had issues were a time tracking program called
Track-It Lite (v 4.1), which I was able to adjust - the font wasn't tiny in
this program, just different. I was able to adjust the window size and all is
fine.

The other program is an older program call Goldmine (v. 3.20.61107) which is
a contact management database. This is the program where the font on the
contact screen is so tiny that it's almost unreadable. The info in this
program is extremely important.

I also ran the SFC.exe and it keep asking for my Win XP Professional SP2 CD.
I had to cancel out of it.
