Application Error in Internet Explorer?

Frequently, when departing a link on OE, a window opens up that reads:

***********************************************************************************
iexplore.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x7c910f29" referenced memory at "0x00008008".
The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program.
************************************************************************************

I click the OK button whereupon the window disappears momentarily only to
reappear moments later. I then click on OK again and it finally disappears for
good until the next unforeseeable episode.

Any ideas?

Yes I have ideas but you'll hate me for them ;) At the same time you might
not but I'll be honest and say I've never encountered this error here or on
a client's box. What I do have saved in my favorites is this link:

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=276393

Which will tell you a great deal about understanding IE errors and how to
fix them.
