application data folder redirection not working

I setup Group Policy to redirect My Documents, Desktop, Start Menu and
Application data. The redirection for My Documents, Desktop, and Start
Menu work just fine. However no folder gets created under the user
share for Application data.

I configed it the same as for My Documents and Desktop. The event log
on the clients say the Application Data folder was successfully
redirected to \\server\share\username\Application Data

But when I look on the server hosting the share it only has My
Documents, Desktop and Start Menu.

Any help appreciated.

Hey James,

I would start by checking the NTFS security for the ...\Application Data
folder and make sure that SYSTEM has access to the folder, as well as the
User.

Hi Jim,

The server share was setup as per MS Q288991......the user share gets
created, Desktop, My Documents and Start Menu folders get created. But
nothing for Application Data.

In GP Application Data was setup exactly the same as the other
folders...
